Find out what is slowing your site down — in about ten seconds.

Paste a URL. We run Google's own PageSpeed Insights against it and read the result back to you in plain English, biggest win first. The same data Google ranks on, without the dashboard.

A score is not advice

1

Ordered by what it saves

Every fix comes with Google's own estimate of the time it would save, biggest first. Work down the list until the numbers stop being worth it.

2

Lab and field, kept apart

A simulated run tells you what to fix. Real Chrome visitors tell you what Google actually ranks you on. They disagree more often than you would think, and we show both.

3

Four checks, one number each

Performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO — all four in one run, because the cheapest wins are usually not the performance ones.

What the colours mean

Lighthouse's own thresholds, not ours. 90 is the line for green, which is why an 88 looks worse than it is.

  • 90–100Good
  • 50–89Needs work
  • 0–49Poor

Questions people actually ask

Is this just Google PageSpeed Insights?

Yes, and deliberately so. The measurements come from Google's PageSpeed Insights API, which is the same engine behind the report in Search Console. Pretending to have our own numbers would mean pretending to know better than the numbers you are actually judged on. What we add is reading it back to you in order of what is worth fixing.

Why do my scores change between runs?

Because the measurement is a real page load on a simulated slow connection, and no two page loads are identical. A few points either way is noise. If a number moves by twenty, something changed.

Do you keep the URLs I check?

For 24 hours, then a job deletes them. We never store your IP address and there is no access log. The URL is sent to Google, though — that is how the check works — so do not check a private staging URL you would not want visited. The privacy page says exactly what happens.

Why only mobile?

Because mobile is what Google ranks on. A desktop score is a nicer number and a less useful one, so there is no desktop option at all rather than a toggle that quietly flatters you.

What are the other checks?

A sitemap validator, a robots.txt checker and possibly an llms.txt one. They are next. This one works today.
